i installed a pro series compustar alarm only 2 way into a 97 Saab 900 everything works great. EXCEPT for when the alarms goes off it sounds the horn and siren for about 10 seconds then the noise shuts off and the 2 way remote show that the system is in valet. weird!? Take the system out of valet and rearm and the same thing happened. I'll call monday to find out for sure. Just wondering if it was something anyone else had seen

Yeah, i would call. Sounds like an issue with the factory alarm.

Did you ever find out what was the cause of alarm going off?
