Hello,

I just purchased a 2002 Mazda MPV and would like to know how I can have all the doors lock when the van is put into drive, it would be a nice security feature for my wife and daughter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

First you need to have electric locks, if you dont then you need to add actuators or buy the originals from the agency. The locks work  when you turn the ignition on and off not when you put it in drive at least to my knowledge. If you have the locks installed already you can buy a keyless entry or alarm and they will work when you turn on/off  the ignition. Another option is following the diagram here   https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#al if you have never done this i suggest you take it to a shop because its not hard to screw something up especiallly new cars.
