You get 12v on the parking light wire you tapped vehicle side, or coming out of your Alarm/RS?

Have you tried to energize the suspected parking light wire manually with a fused jumper to confirm it is the correct wire? Is the polarity selectable and set correctly on your alarm output?

Wouldn't recommend giving it a jumper.  You can verify with a DMM when you turn on the lights you would see some type of reading.  Either 12v to 0v or 0v to 12.  You might actually have the wrong wire and therefore damaging something.  If it does turn on then you may do it but from the looks of it(not judging you) it looks like it would not be appropriate for you to use a probe.

Look to the colours at each back light, also nyou might be running foul of an internal check system sniffing out resistance on these wires.
