Anybody who can help, please do so! I am installing an alarm/remote start on my tundra and i am having an impossible time finding the parking light wire. I have looked at several wiring diagrams and they all say that the best place to find it is in the drivers kick panel, and some say that it is in a 12-pin connector at the drivers junction block. None of this is helping me find the wire. I need someone to tell me exactly where it is and the easiest way to find it please!

I have a picture and its for an 03 but its the same wire and location for directechs.  At the bottom of the kick panel you will see loom(black tube that covers wires)  open the loom up and look for a green wire.  Meter it and as soon as you turn the parking lights on it will give you 12v.  Thats your wire.

I am installing a Python 990 on my tundra. It has a factory alarm and keyless entry on it. I dont know for sure which wire is the alarm disarm and alarm arm and the easiest way to find them. Do I need to hook both up to prevent the factory alarm from going off when i remote start my truck? Or do i need to just hook up the disarm wire? Do i need to hook up a relay to the wire? and if so, how?

I am installing a python 990 on my 01 tundra. I have read on here about the child safety locks and diode isolating the wires to the unlock. The thing is is that my truck doesnt have the child safety lock system on it. So can i just hook the wires from my python 990 straight to the door lock/unlock wires? The install instructions says that you can switch the wires coming from the 990 to make them send a (-) pulse to the door wires. So do i need a relay or not? Thanks!

Relays are not "really" needed if you can reverse the polarity at the brain. You might need to program double pulse for unlock though!

If you look....it's there! Get your meter out.posted_image    Arm and disarms factory security with lock and unlock! So when you lock, the factory security will arm. When you unlock, it will disarm.

In regards to the parking lights:
Perhaps you have tried tracing the wire out of your headlight switch? How do you turn the parking lights on, start from there. If you don't want to go searching through looms of wire in the driver's KP as suggested, track down the direct wiring to your parking light switch and probe it from there.
