I am installing a Omega Max into my coupe and I have found the rest of the wiring specs on this site but am searching for the turn signal wires in this model (UK spec). The wiring map on the site seems to leave out the turn signal location. Would appreciate a location, colors and polarity fellas.

Remove light fitting. In the loom are 6 wires with colours blue/green, blue/brown blue / YELLOW. Check with a DMM and you will find 3 flash for left and 3 for right. Take your light outputs from alarm and split each with 3 1N54006 diodes wth bands away from alarm. You might find that if you have joined to trunk (boot)wire (as you should have), the alarm triggers when you arm it. You will need 2 1N 4000 series diodes to cure that.

You are talking about the hazard switch in centre console?

I have a single positive flashing pulse from the control unit, you are saying I need to split it into 2 and then into a further 3 for each side and supply power to all 6 at the same time? Sounds a bit suspect. Is there not another location I could supply the left and right turns all at once? Even in the engine bay.

Also why would this cause the trunk to trigger negative? Ive noticed on a previous install on an e46 if you send a lock pulse to the doors when they are already locked the alarm would trip from the hood/trunk circuit... why is this?

Hazards
Turn Signal(L) blue/brown (x3)  +  large harness above accel pedal
Turn Signal(R) blue/green (x3)  +  large harness above accel pedal
Reverse Light

Are these used instead of parking lights?   Somethings I just don't understand! posted_image

NO nHaz switch in centre console refers to earlier E36, also wiring in E46 completely different, lock and unlock is neg. going, etc. Reason for diodes on boot light is that when you turn on alarm, locks send a pulse through boot light buls which can trigger alar if you correctly wired to boot light feed in r/h floor loom.

Insert diode in each RED / yellow 12v+ supply to boot light in each rear light fitting with band towards fitting.
