anyone know if the fuel injector signal on a 1999 grand prix will work for a tach signal on compustar brains?

I have a question. Why would it NOT work? I am not "currently" a Compustar dealer. Is this a normal problem, the obvious tach signal not working!

Anyone got a real good answer for this?

i dont know why but ive found many compustars wont read tach from coil on plug style coils (just about every car now)

DEI and Compustar systems have been tuned in recent years to work best with an injector wire.
