hello everyone!! I did search on here and found out that if I ground the violet / YELLOW wire in the dfriver door boot it will keep the factory alarm in the disarm state...here is the prob,I had a alarm, keyless, remotestart installed, the factory alarm .blows when I arm(don't like that) and when I remote start it sets off the factory alarm if I dont disarm first(too much to remember,ha ha) I did ground the violet/yel wire, great no more beep on arm and no alarm when I remote start, only prob is when I arm(lock the doors w/ transmitter) the interior lights stay on!!! (arghhhhh)does anyone have an easier solution?? any hel pis GREATLY appreciated.......

Hook the violet / YELLOW to the disarm wire of your remote start instead of permanately grounding it.

yes that would stop the alarm from going off during remote start, but the factory horn would still honk on arm/lock.....if I'm not mistaken the disarm wire only sends a signal during remote start and disarm, not arm...?? I could be wrong

I believe you can turn off the horn honking by using the controls in the overhead console. I might be wrong....it has been a while.
