Hi,

I'm looking to install an alarm in my Golf VR6 could anyone assist me who has access to wiring info like on the Directed database.

What alarm? Are you an installer or a do it yourselfer?

I'm a DIY person. I've installed alarms before just not on this model.

The alarm is similar in wiring to a clifford/directed type so need all the relavent wiring info.

It's a Mk3 Golf VR6 Highline 96/97

Thanks for your honesty, here goes £150 posted_image  

12V+ Spare Terminal at fusebox

Ign Black Ign switch to fusebox

Starter RED / Black Ign Switch to fusebox

Ground on earthing terminals above fusebox or metal cross section below dash

Flashers, Black /Green and Black /White on loom adjacent to ign lead +

Door contacts Brown white in looms behind fusebox or same from door switches-

Boot (trunk), brown red at light switch -

Bonnet (hood) mount switch to n/side via right angle bracket adjacent to battery

Lock Grey + Unlock Green + Extend lock pulse to about 14 secs if turning key and holding in driver's door closes windows and roof.

Siren, to suspension strut behind battery.

ALL ABOVE INFO GIVEN WITHOUT PREJUDICE PLEASE CHECK EVERYTHING YOURSELF WITH A DIGITAL MULTIMETER BEFORE CONNECTING

USE ONLY SOLDERED JOINTS
