Ask a specific question and you shall receive a specific answer. Most are glad to help out on this forum. You said you have the wiring info -- that info also contains the locations of the wires; Your Compustar install manual states while color wires from which harnesses need to be connected to which wire on the vehicle -- use your wiring info for the Nissan to make these connections. Go through this on paper, then ask some questions about what you may not understand or what appears misleading/confusing. Use your electrical knowledge to test ALL wires with a multimeter as well as to create well soldered and taped or heat shrunk wire connections. Best of luck, and don't hesitate to ask plenty of specific questions. ------------- The search function is your friend.

no this is not a ebay unit. i bought it at an authorized dealer. Just found it pointless to pay someone almost 200 dollars to install it when i am have the electrical knowledge to do the install myself. Its just the wording that compustar puts all the wire information that confuses me but i have found all the wires i needed to know to install it completely including auto start and the turbo timer. just missing the wire for being able to priority unlock driver side door. and also which wires are going to have to be in series with the car and which in parallel?

Well..... thank your "authorized dealer" for his contribution to the grey market. Don't tell me who this idiot is, I'll bust his butt and turn him in for breaking his dealer agreement. Firstech would love to shut this fool down. You can tell him I said so. Brian Shaw is a friend of mine......and he takes his job very seriously. He works hard to protect the line from guys like this. This guy is risking his ability to sell compustar over a couple hundered bucks. HE makes it hard on the REAL dealers. Guys like him sell to guys like you. Then guys like you go to someone else for warranty. It's just wrong. AND PLEASE, don't take this as if I am slamming you, and saying you have no skill.... cause I don't know for sure. It just erks the living S out of me to have guys whore the product out like that. -------------

i understand. but see i have been doing alot of reseach on all the wiring information to this very alarm and with the help of my automotive instrustor at college have figured out most all the wiring diagram for the alarm its just the why firstech worded alot of this stuff thats annoying to me. and plus why in the heck did they make an installers guide for this if it wasnt to be sold outside of an authorized dealer?
Now to get past all this and post what i have come up with for all the wiring info to the wires in my car against the wires from the cm3000.
once more i just need to know which wires are to be in series and which are just running in parallel to the circuit?

If you look at the tech info I posted, you should see it makes direct reference to YOUR car. The color of the wire on the brain directly to the color and location of the wire on your car! And with all of your "reserch"..... look at all of the questions. Then you make an error, and then what. You have no warranty, and think the product is the problem, and maybe think it's junk... which it's not. It's just a spiraling giant sucking sound that put's the burden on the shoulders of the TRUE "authorized dealers" to defend the product. As far as an authorized dealer having to use an install guide..... it's more of a quick reference guide, and a teachers assistance for newer installers. And it is worded poorly at best. Good luck with your install my friend. -------------

I agree with KarTuneMan on this one. I've been installing for quite a while and i just did my first compustar the other day, (same module as yours), and believe me, the manual left me scratching my head a couple of times, but having experience i was able to make it through it.

Kartuneman I definetely agree with the installed by authorized dealer only setup but then again you also have people who do not know how to install it the true professional way at these authorized dealers. This also gives the product a bad name due to the fact that its installed by a dealer. On a side note, usually if an alarm doesnt work theres a higher chance that its the actual installer then the alarm/rs system.

Enice, I'll give you that. Improperly trained insrtallers ARE the fault of many failures. BUT, if you look at the bigger picture of the retail 12volt world, those type of problems happen alot less, than an over the counter customer that says "my dads an electrician how hard could it be." Just read the 12volt... more "back yard installers" than pros. And the majority of these types of sales happen over GREED. Lack of common sense.

"once more i just need to know which wires are to be in series and which are just running in parallel to the circuit?"
Dude your not wiring up speakers. You can run your LEDS series. heh KARTUNES, I'm glad to see dealers take charge and actually say thing about doodie sold over the counter. I agree with you 110%. But yet we help these people install. Kinda funny if you really think about it. ------------- "dont ground out!"

ok now i see how people are on these forums just as they are on the maxima forums but to put you all down i have gotten it all figured out and installed and it all works now. and best thing is i did it all on my own to prove people like you all wrong that it doesnt take pros to install these things as i figured all the wires out and got it correct the first time. thank you all very much for nothing as to tell you Kartuneman your wiring diagram is incorrect on a few wires. I think you need to double check those wiring diagrams. The alarm is fully functional and all. Auto start works dock lock and unlock works tuber timer works passive and valet mode works siren works tach learn and so on it all works. so once again thank you for nothing and i wont be asking the likes of you all people about installing things as i have the knowledge and the ability to figure it out on my own and maybe if i have questions ask my instructor a 8 year BMW master tech that knows about electrical. good bye
