I installed a compustar in my 90' Toyota Celica, and it doesnt seem to respond to anything. I've installed 3 in my lifetime, and they've all been successful installs. But now I'm trying to program a remote to the brain by turning the ignition fro ACC to On 5 consecutive times within 7 seconds, but the relay in the brain doesnt make any clicking noises, and my parking lights dont blink. I can confirm that the ground is good, and the 12V constant is good. Any help is appreciated.

You need to verify the ACC connection.

Cut the ign wire free, strip yourself a chunk of constant 12 volts (expose the wire) take your bare ign. wire from the brain and touch it to the bare 12volt wire 5 times in a row. You should then be able to program your transmitters. After you program, reconect the little green ign. to your harness.

Some key cylinders you just can't turn fast enough!   Try it, you'll see.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestion guys. I'll post back after I've tried this. Also should the LED blink or the siren make any noise when I put the battery lead back on?
