Hi everyone.

A while back I installed an aftermarket power door lock kit on my vehicle. This was a Magicar FAI-820 Keyless Entry System( 2 remotes, 2 actuators, and control box) the actuators were probably made by a different company. Well anyways, my remotes have started to fail and I wanted a more alarm type system so I took a trip to the local auto parts store and purchased an Audiovox AA-925 Keyless Entry System.

My problem is connecting the power door locks for this system, im really not sure if my current system is positive or negative, or if I connect the Audiovox to the aftermarked Magicar system, or just bypass that entirely. All i know is that both actuators have 2 wires coming off of them that run into the magicar system. The attacked picture is basically how the actuators are set up now. I'm not sure if I need relays or what but any help or input would be great.

The diagram you have shown is a system that has built in relays. (in the keyles/alarm module) Is this a pic of what YOU have? If not you will need to add your own relays, and trigger them with the lock/unlock outputs form your unit. Wire your relays like this. In this diagram the green and blue are FROM the brain, and the purple and bright blu are the "up", and "down" in YOUR diagram, that connects to the actuators. (BOTH)

Sorry i didn't explain the picture better.   That picture was my old setup. I have removed all that. This picture is of my new setup.

The actuators have a Blue and a Green wire running off of them. If i hook them directly to the red and the green noting happens. So i'm assuming that either i have to make some relays or run my new system back into the old system (previous picture).

Thanks again for your help.
