Make sure the acc. wire from the remote start is hooked up to this wire.

So you need your radio ON during remote start? OR is this when you take over with the key?

Why would you want the CD player on during remote start?

All that'll do is disturb your neighbors, and also cause you to miss out on some of the songs on the CD.

I only energize the radio circuit during remote start on the cars that require it.

there may be a seperate acc wire in there to turn on the radio.  as long as the heat works i wouldn't worry about it.
