after buying a dei 556lw modulator for the passlock II bypass and installing it accordingly, the truck starts then shuts off with the security light blinking. wires have been double double check once and twice, but modulator still wont send right "r code". is there a trick to programing the modulator? i programed the modulator according to the instructions provided.

***if i detach the (-)status ouput wire, the the security light wont blink but car stil shuts off.

please help

sounds like you programmed it wrong.. thats the only reason the vehicle would shut back off immediately.. the passlock shuts the fuel off until it sees the right resistance. I do not use dei modules so i cannot help you with programming.
