I have bought a new clifford concept 100 alarm system for my 1999 ford f150. I have never came around to installing it. Last night my window got bashed so now I really need to install it. Can somebody or anybody give me the wiring diagram for the concept 100? I already got the wiring digram for my truck off this website so all i need is the wiring digram for the clifford concept 100. I have already checked the clifford website and for some reason they didn't list the diagram for my alarm system. Thanks!!!

What wires did you test for lock/unlock & did you bypass the PATS system on the truck ? We need more specifics.......... does the truck even try to turn over ? Is it turning over, but not catching ?

I started my car alarm install last night and I didn't get to finish. I have run into a few problems and I need help really really bad. here is a detail description of what I did: First I mounted all the componts(Siren, Glass Tampering Sensor, Coded Valet Switch, LED, Dual Zone Piezo Sensor, and antenna). Then I plug all the componets into the given plugs. After all those was finished I started looking for all the wires. I started with the 4 pin wires. First, I found the Starter and Ignition wires. From the Ignition switch I hooked up the Ignition wire(RED / Black) to the WHITE/ Brown Clifford wire, And the GREEN/ Blue Clifford wire to the other end of the ignition wire. Then, I found the Starter wire(RED / Blue), and hooked up the WHITE/ Green Clifford wire to the key side of the Starter wire, and the WHITE/ Blue Clifford wire to the other end of the starter wire. All done with that, now I moved on to the 22 pin connector. With the 22 pin connector, I pluged in all the componets and was left with the Trunk and Hood trigger input(Gray / YELLOW), Parking light outputs(Brown), Door lock output(Gray/Green), door unlock output(Gray/Orange), Interior light supply(BROWN / Red), and door trigger input(Gray). I didn't use Auxiliary A or B(Gray/Voilet, Gray/Blue) or Armed output(Green). Trunk and Hood trigger (Gray / YELLOW)I hooked up to a hood trigger. Parking light outputs(Brown) I hooked both up to the Parking lamp wire(Brown) Door lock output(Gray/Green) I tapped it into the door lock wire(Pink / YELLOW) Door unlock output (Gray/Orange) I tapped it into the door unlock wire(Pink/Green) Interior light supply(BROWN / Red) I hooked up to a fused 12v supply Door trigger input(Gray) I hooked up to the door switch wire(BLACK/ Blue) After all that, My door locks wont lock or unlock with the alarm, but will lock and unlock with the cars lock/unlock switch and, the alarm will not engage if I open the door while the alarm is armed, also after disarming the alarm, it automatically arms itself after a minute or so. When I disarm the alarm, my car wont start. Can somebody PLEASE help me out with this? Did I do somethiing wrong? what should I do now? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

** Did you bypass the PATS system ? ** Look here : https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/security/vatts.html Look for the Ford/Mazda PATS Anti-theft X-Plained at the bottom of the page for more information. First off you have the IGN wires mixed up withthe ACC wires. This is what your suppose to have: - WHITE/ BROWN=====Keyside DARK BLUE/LIGHT GREEN
- GREEN/ BLUE ====== ENGINE SIDE BLUE/LIGHT GREEN
- WHITE/ GREEN ====== KEYSIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE
- WHITE/ BLUE ======== ENGINE SIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE
Some of the wires you have are not on the correct wires on the truck. Here is a wiring diagram that you can use as referrence and make sure you double check all the NOTSES. Also, your door locks will not work because they are probably a type C ( 5 wire ) and you will need to use 2 relays for this look at this link here for a diagram for the 5 wire : 5 Wire Alternating 12 Volts Positive Door Locks | ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL| WIRE LOCATION | | 12V|yellow & lt. grn/pur|+ |ignition harness | | STARTER|RED / lt. blue |+ |ignition harness | | IGNITION|dk. blue/lt. green |+ |ignition harness | | SECOND IGNITION|gray / YELLOW |+ |ignition harness | | THIRD IGNITION|lt. blue/pink *1 |+ |ignition harness | | ACCESSORY|RED / black |+ |ignition harness | | SECOND ACCESSORY|BLACK/ green |+ |ignition harness | | POWER LOCK|pink / YELLOW |*2 |passenger kick panel | | POWER UNLOCK|pink/green |*2 |passenger kick panel | | LOCK MOTOR|pink/black | |driver kick panel | | UNLOCK MOTOR|RED / orange | |driver kick panel | | DISARM DEFEAT|pink/orange | |passenger kick panel | | PARKING LIGHTS +|brown | |light switch *3 | | PARKING LIGHTS -|lt. GREEN/ YELLOW | |light switch *4 | | HEADLIGHTS|RED / yellow |+ |light switch | | DOOR TRIGGER|blk/yel & blk/pnk |- |*5 | | DOME SUPERVISION|BLACK/ lt.blue |+ |passenger kick panel | | FCTRY ALARM ARM|*6 | | | |FCTRY ALRM DISARM|dark GREEN/ purple |- |drivers kick panel | | TACHOMETER|*7 | | | | BRAKE WIRE|light green |+ |at switch *3 | | HORN TRIGGER|dk. blue |- |steering column | | WIPERS| | | | | LF WINDOW UP/DN|org/wht - wht/blk |A |in drivers door | | RF WINDOW UP/DN|wht/yel - tan/lt.blu|A |drivers kick panel | | LR WINDOW UP/DN| | | | | RR WINDOW UP/DN| | | | Notes: NOTE: Some models of this vehicle are equipped with PATS (Passive Anti Theft System). Use DEI module 555F to over-ride during remote start. *1 Power this wire if vehicle is equiped with only rear anti-lock brakes. Vehicles with all wheel anti-lock brakes do not have this wire. *2 Negative pulse, type 'B', on keyless entry models. Five wire, type 'C', on non-keyless models, mastered from the driver switch. *3 May also be found at trailer connector next to diagnostic connector under dash. *4 If equipped with autolamps. *5 The BLACK / YELLOW catches the drivers door and the BLACK/ pink catches the passengers door. Use both wires and diode isolate each. See direct fax document #1076 for wiring information. The wires are found in there respective door harnesses. Both wires may also be found at the GEM module located above the fuse box. On models without a dome light delay use ORANGE / lt. green (-) at the light switch. *6 Arms when locked with the door open. To simulate, send a negative trigger to the lt. blue/white wire at the RAP module, located behind the light switch, while locking. *7 Tach wire: on the 4.2L it is a dk. blue/lt. green at the coil pack on top of the motor. On the 4.6L it is a pink/white in a 3 pin plug at the front of the motor below the air intake and next to the fan. On the 5.4L it is a lt. GREEN / WHITE at the coil on the passenger side of the motor between the fuel injectors. ------------- Jeff

how do you bypass the PATS system? sorry if im asking stupid questions

You can use a key required universal bypass module or a keyless bypass module ( PKF ). https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/security/transponder_page.htm You can make your own universal module here: https://www.velocitymotorsport.com/images/install_notes/116.jpg ------------- Jeff

The link you provided says I will only need this if the truck came factory built with the keyless entry. my truck never had keyless entry. When I looked under the dash at the RED / Blue wire there was a black plug type thing wired in between the switch and the engine and it was srewed in right under the steering wheel. On another note....Do I need to buy a rely for the door locks? I have a 5wire positive

If your truck didn't have OEM keyless, then you have the 5 wire positive system. Use the link that I had in the previous post and get two relays and wire in the door lock system according to the diagram to your new RS system's keyless entry wires.

where can I get the relys from, can I just get them at radioshack or should I go to a car audio place like tweeter or best buy? also is there a certian kind of rely I should get, or are they all the same?

You can get them at any of those places. Make sure you get the SPDT 30/40 amp relays.

Okay......I think I'm almost done and every thing is correct. The siren works, the lights work, the door locks work.....everything works as it should. But there is one more problem the truck wont start. The truck cranks when I turn the key, but the motor won't turn over. I hook up those 4 wires as you said: WHITE/ BROWN=====Keyside DARK BLUE/LIGHT GREEN GREEN/ BLUE ====== ENGINE SIDE BLUE/LIGHT GREEN WHITE/ GREEN ====== KEYSIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE WHITE/ BLUE ======== ENGINE SIDE RED / LIGHT BLUEThe RED / Blue Starter wire had a microchip thing wired to it and I cut it off to wire the clifford wires on, then the truck wouldn't turn over. So I then wired the micro chip thing back on from the RED / Blue keyside starter wire to the WHITE/ Green clifford wire in a series manor, It still wouldn't turn over. I then disconnected the 4 pin wires and rewired the ignition to exactley how it was before the install....and the truck still won't turn over. what do I do now? Here is the original wiring:
Then I wired it like this:

You still haven't bypassed the PATS system properly then. You need a programmed key to bypass it. Try this: insert your key into the key cylinder and try to remote start the truck. If it starts then try it without it in the cylinder. If it doesn't start, you did not bypass the system properly.

My truck did not come with the factory keyless entry. I bought the truck used at a dealer so I called them to see what this microchip thing is, they said its called "StarGaurd" It was installed at the used car dealership. Is that the same as the PATS system? how do I bypass the stargaurd?

Try this: insert your key into the key cylinder and try to remote start the truck. If it starts then try it without it in the cylinder. If it doesn't start, you did not bypass the system properly. If you did not try the above test, then I can't help you anymore. The PATS is not the same as the StarGaurd. The PATS is a factory Ford passive anti theft system that comes on almost all F-150's. ------------- Jeff

I'll try that, but I did not know my alarm came with remote start, its a clifford concept 100. My girlfriend has the same exact alarm on her civic and it doesn't have remote start installed, the guy who sold it to me said that I would need to buy an add on module for the remote start option.

OK, now I know what your are trying to do here. In the above post when you said that the truck won't start, I thought you had a remote starter installed with the Clifford. Now I can see straight. OK.......... Do this but do not use that microchip thing you are talking about : WHITE/ BROWN=====Keyside DARK BLUE/LIGHT GREEN GREEN/ BLUE ====== ENGINE SIDE BLUE/LIGHT GREEN WHITE/ GREEN ====== KEYSIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE WHITE/ BLUE ======== ENGINE SIDE RED / LIGHT BLUE What is that microchip thing anyway ??------------- Jeff
