Hey,
I have a 99 Jeep Cherokee I bought recently and it came with an Audiovox Pursuit pro-9675ft4 remote start system, but it didn't have a remote with it. I went on Ebay and bought
this.

I followed the programming instructions step by step, and I only got the lock button to work.
This is what I did.
1.Turn on the ignition and hit the button 3 times.
2.Hold down the button for lock for 4 seconds or until you hear a chirp/lights start flashing. I did that and all the lights started flashing.
3.Hit the button under the dash once for channel 2 and hold down the botton for lock for 4 seconds or until you hear a chirp. At this point the lights were still flashing from step 2. So I hold the button down for a bit and the lights stop flashing.
4. Hit the black button once and hold down the button for channel 3. I do that and absolutely nothing happens. Same thing for channel 4 after that.

Then I turn the ignition key off and try the remote. The lock button works, but all the other buttons don't do anything.

Under the dash everything is hooked up to the control box, but the thing that catches my eye is that there are a few wires that look like they were cut and bundled up.
Thos wires are:
Dark Blue/ Black= (-) trigger input to allow activation from external source
Brown=from (-) door trigger
Dark Blue=to channel 3 control relay
BLACK/ White=Low current (-) output to activate vehicle horn
GREEN/ Black=to channel 4 control relay
Black=Chassis ground
WHITE/ Black=to (+) siren
Lt Blue=to (-) ignition 3 control relay
Purple=From (+) door trigger
Orange= (-) control to starter inhibit relay

Are any of them wires not being connected inhibit the system from working?

Any other ideas of what I could try or check?

Thanks,
-Chris

Wrong remote dude. You need a 4 button style with separate lock and unlock buttons.

Thats what I have.
Here's a link again to what I bought, the first one seems to not be working.
