I have a 1985 300ZX and I want to put a remote entry system. I looked up the wiring guide it has everything except the door lock and unlock I guess since there's not an actual switch. I'm wanting to know is there any special parts I need to get in order to put remote entry on this vehicle or how would I go about doing it thanks....

The power locks operate by moving the lock lever on the INSIDE of the door. What you need to do is duplicate this function. Adding a door lock actuator will do this! The actuator moves the lever, wich in turn operates your power locks! This, with a keyless entry module will be all you need. The Compustar CM1000A is a great unit. Built in relays.

Ok so I would need to purchase seperate actuators right. And if so will these work https://www.slickcar.com/productdetails.asp?Productid=552. And basically I would use the alarm you suggested and use the relays to trigger the actuators. ------------- W. Early
