i will be installing a scytek 5100rs in my truck shortly and was wondering if anybody had any lessons learned from previous installs. the truck that it will be going into is a 99 ford F-250 superduty powerstroke diesel with a manual tranny. any pointers on this would be great, thanks

bypassing your clutch.

Take the starter wire from your unit directly to the Dk. blue/orange at the clutch switch INSTEAD of the start at the ignition harness.
