All right Im new to this forum somewhat.  I've used it quite a bit over the past and just now had a need to register.   anyways I need a new alarm for my truck (97 chevy c/k).  Ive read over countless threads before I posted this but I just can't seem to decide what to get.  I was going to order an autopage 750 but have since changed my mind.  I really like the Clifford AG4 just need to find an online dealer because all the local shops what to charge around 600+ just for the alarm since I don't want them to instal it.  Anyways I would like remote start, and windows as well.  I don't have door handles so I need an alarm with atleast 2 aux channels to pop the driver and passenger doors.  I could get away with just one for the drivers door but would like to be able to do both.  That's about it really, any sugestions you guys could give would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance,

Taylor

The Lynx system we have has 4 AUX channels and full function alarms sytem with option to hook up the remote starter if you wish. Has equal range to the Autopage 750 & the AG4 and warranty is covered if you install it yourself where the other two are not covered by the manufacturer.

hey taylor...
i have the same predicament as you do...looking for a good alarm that will do the job right the first time. i was doing some extensive research this past weekend, and looked @the viper vx790, autopage 750, there are 3 other different brands that do almost the same, but the deciding factor was the aux channels...i have the doors shaved also. so i need an alarm that would not leave me stranded (the lynx 2000 has a batery meter, and signal meter, to let you know the strenght of signal and batery). i believe Jeff could actually give you a schematic to be able to cut off power to the external(secret)switch, so if you're scoped out, and hit the switch...they still won't get in. out of all the researh i did i would recoment the Lynx 2000. just my 2cnts.
