I need to get an alarm, looking for a 2way pager type and found some at what seems to be a good price at caralarmz.com. Are those any good? Does anyone have a recommendation for one in the $150 range.

Also, the car is missing the remote to lock/unlock the doors, I'd like an alarm I can wire to the doors or something that I can use to work the doors also if thats possible.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what you're looking at but I have the Viper 791, which is a good system IMO. Many pager systems not only have alarm features but also the remote entry.  There are some that do remote start, too.

Oh, 1 more thing, I wouldn't suggest using the  "computer safe test light" that he's offering on there as well.  Even though it is "computer safe" they can damage the car's internal computer.  I suggest using a digital multimeter, most everyone else here will suggest that too.

I was looking at the compustars on their website and ebay, the msrp of those is about $400 for the cheapest 2 way, but on ebay its like $250.
