i have a 2000 cavalier that i purchased with a after market power window kit installed but  all the wires have been chewed up by mice so i need to re wire it. i removed what was left of the wireing or lack there of. all the way to the power window motor and it has a tan and dark blue wire that is attacheted to the motor  and on the switch  harness it has a dark blue, light blue, tan, black, purple and a  yellow wire. i hooked up  a "power wire" to the yellow and ran that to a fuse in the fuse box to " test"and grounded the black wire on a nut then i hooked up the matching wires and nothing worked

could i run a Power wire stright the the battery?i have a very little understanding about power window wiring.

What type of kit is it?

Electric-life

SPAL

There are a few others that slip my brain at this time..... but. A new harnes would be way easier than teryin to do this yourself.

It would be (literally) plug and play!

Just a thought!!!

Looks like the links are broke.  I'll try to repost them for him, but if that doesn't work then just Google the names.
