I installed the Compustar Cm4200 in 2000 Corolla manual transmission. After programing the remote (1wam4r), I pressed the start button but the car doesnt start. As the install guide say, the Cm4200 modul can use for manual transmission. However, it doesnt show how to connect the jumper for the clutch switch. Do I need the clutch switch jumper? The park light is flash 3 time first and 7 time later. I read the install guide, it said the fail code is reservation mode for manual transmission. I set the reservation mode  as it show on the guide but it doesnt work. Can anyone help me out to start the car ,please? (winter is coming soon). Thank you

The clutch bypass is done by taking a start output from the cm4200 to the black wire at the clutch switch.

You can use the actual starter output from the remote start. No need to connect it to the starter wire at ignition harness.

Hi Kartuneman

What do you mean No need to connect the starter output to the starter wire at ignition harness. ?  But I used the starter relay kill, how do I connect it? I connected the pin 30 of relay to the wire of the ignition sw, and 87a to the starter wire, So I connect it same with the clutch?. My car is basic  ( no option at all) but dont know why it doesnt work.....Anyaway, thanks for your help.

The clutch "starter wire" is for remote start only. This the only connection thats made is the starter  output from the remote start.  For you to use your starter kill, just wire it in as normal. (on the starter wire at the ign. harness.)

Remote start is working , but no Tach and Heater.  I measured the wire at the coil having 1-4 AcV output  and set program for  the Tach by pressing the brake pedal and the Start ( as user guid said). It gave 3 flash light. I have to 2 wiring diagram. One say connect the Tach at the coil, and the wiring diagram at this website say connect at the ECM. Which one is right. Also, as I start the car by remote, the Heater  isnt work but the Radio is working. What wrong is it. Can you help me out.

You have the wrong accessory wire try the other one and you may have the system set to alternator sensing as opposed to tach sensing.
