Customer has a 2004 F250, he remote starts the truck and if the starter times out and shuts off or he shuts the truck off his radio will stay on and play, i know there is a way to trigger the rap shutdown but i cant remember what it was?

Pulse the doorpin?

do you need a relay or will the (-) Rearm work and just send it to the doorpins?

you can use either or couple of diodes or a relay.

1)interrupt the door pin wire w/ the door trigger input(from alarm) one side going toward the door and the other side of the relay has the rearm wire attached.

2)blocking diode is prolly an easier choice. the point of using diode is to prevent the rearm feed from goin to the door trigger input wire, potentially setting off the alarm.

Yes, that should work out fine.  Just puse a doorpin with the rearm wire.

Depending on what type of unit is installed (post it on the next go around) there might be an output that is called "pulse after shut down" this would be used to pulse the drivers door pin wire.

This would be used, or could be used, instead of the rearm, IN CASE you need to actually rearm some factory security. Does this make sence? That way the radio is just shut off after the runtime, if nothing needed to be

"armed"   Does is still make sence?   if not..... never mind.posted_image
