Yes you need  a bypass.

 PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT YES TRANSPONDER   SEE NOTES 
 12 VOLTS White Ignition harness   + 
 IGNITION BLACK/ white Ignition harness   + 
 ACCESSORY Blue/red Ignition harness   + 
 STARTER BLACK / YELLOW Ignition harness   + 
 KEY SENSE Blue/red Ignition harness   + 
 TACH SIGNAL White See notes   AC 
 Located at test connector in left rear corner of engine compartment.
 LOCK Blue / YELLOW At junction block above DKP   - 
 UNLOCK BLACK/ red At junction block above DKP   - 
 DOORPIN GREEN/ red At fuse/junction block   - 
 TRUNK PIN Common with doors      
 TRUNK RELEASE Manual release      
 FACTORY ARM Arms with lock wire      
 FACTORY DISARM Disarms with unlock wire     
 BRAKESWITCH Green At switch above brake pedal   + 
 PARKLIGHTS GREEN / WHITE In driver's kickpanel   + 
 HAND BRAKE YELLOW /GREEN At handbrake or behind instrument cluster   - 
 HORN GREEN/ red At steering column   - 
 CLUTCH SWITCH GREEN/ black or BLACK/ red At switch on top of clutch pedal   TYPE 2
