I have this crazy customer that wants remote start  on two of his dump trucks. I am not worried about the main part of the install just wondering if anyone has done any large scaled remote starts and knows if there is a clutch safety switch and nuetral safety switch? One of the trucks is a 2001 peterbuilt, the other is a 99 peterbuilt. It may just be one of those jobs I need to jump into and figure out but I thought I would ceck fiirst. Thanks for looking.

Is there even a wiring diagram for that? Even if there is, would that be smart at all?
I would turn it down (regardless of pay) and not worry about possible problems

Tried searching google, theres doesnt seem to be anyone that has ever installed remote start on a peterbilt or even asked a question about it (aside from you). (there is keyless entry though)

No entry for Peterbuilt on CA site, either.  Not like it's the definitive directory, but looks like you're going to have trouble finding info.

Maybe you could post the question on a trucker's forum or something. Just throwing it out there.

I'm not a professional installer. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
