Hi there,  am trying to get power so i can hook up accessories in my car.  I would like to use the empty fuse slots in my 2001 Nissan Sentra xe.  Is there power on these empty slots?  How do I hook up wires to get power from here.  I am trying to install a LED scanner to my alarm.  There are 3 wires red(posative) Black( ground) Yellow for the alarm, but my exicting led has red and blue.  can I hook the yellow wire to the blue, and the red to the new fuse????  Any replys would be greatly appreciated.  THANX!

Use a test light to see if this empty slot is a switched or a constant power. The empty slots are usually blade type slots and you can use a femal speaker connector to attach to a wire for the connection. What you need to hook up is the YELLOW wire to the starter disable trigger wire on the alarm ( usually ORANGE but check to make sure ). This is a (-) trigger so make sure that the YELLOW wire is a (-) input trigger and not a (+) input trigger. If it is a (+) input trigger you will need to reverse the polarity of the ORANGE wire with a relay.
