I have a 04 Jeep Wrangler I often run with the doors on/off in the summer. I was thinking of putting aftermarket door actuators in, no big deal with the wiring or anything my problem lies with connections between the doors and the jeep. That way when its cold and I'm carrying my kid I could use the alarm remote to unlock my doors. I know I could put quick connects in and plug/unplug with the doors, but I would like to find some kind of contact that I could not worry about. (no dangling wires with the doors off.) It would make contact when the doors are closed and on and not look out of place when the doors are off. Know what I'm saying? I can picture it in my head but I can't think of what else uses something like that. it's a simple idea so any suggestions / help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can get switches or contacts like van doors that have two pins and they will make contact with the metal pad when the doors are closed
