Just wanted to post some information for the new body style Chevy trucks. I just installed a remote starter for this diesel truck and wanted to post some information on it for other's:

Constant Power wire - there are two constant power wires located on the side of the fuse box on the driver's side. These are 12 to 14 gauge wires on two separate connectors, very easy to see.

BCM Wires - many of the trigger wires can be found at the BCM located beside ( to the back of ) the fuse box. There are about 7 colored harnesses on this BCM. YOu can get the following wires from the BCM :

(-) Parking Lights - LIGHT BLUE Pin # 8 in the Clear/White plug
(-) Hood Pin - PINK/BLACK Pin # 17 in the BLACK plug
(+) Brake - LIGHT BLUE/WHITE Pin #6 in BROWN plug
(-) Parking Brake - LIGHT BLUE Pin #16 in BROWN plug

Tachometer - I used voltage sense mode ( tachless ). With the new Chevy trucks using this features works flawlessly and saves time with the diesels in trying to find a proper tach signal.

Wait to Start - With Compustar PRO systems you can set the delay from 1-99 seconds. I set the delay for 5 seconds.

Door Locks & OEM Security - Using the iDatalink ADS-TBSL-GM3 you can control the door lock and OEM arm/disarm features via databus.

PKG3+ Bypass - Using the iDatalink ADS-TBSL-GM3 you can bypass the PKG3+. Follow the instructions given for the new start bypass.

Ignition Wires - Grab all the ignition wires at the lower part of the steering column. It's easier to get them there than at the BCM. Removing the shroud of the steering column is easy, just pry the two halves and the tilt arm can be removed by pulling hard with your hands straight towards you when facing the tilt arm from the side.

Hope this helps other's member's and if you need other information about this vehicle I hope to be working on the gas versions more this winter. I'll post more information on the gas versions if there's anything differs.
