Here is the wiring information for this vehicle. Hope this helps: | ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL| WIRE LOCATION | | 12V|red |+ |ignition harness | | STARTER|yellow |+ |ignition harness | | IGNITION|black |+ |ignition harness | | ACCESSORY| | | | | POWER LOCK|BROWN / blue |- |plug from doors under | | POWER UNLOCK|BROWN / green |- |hood by either strut | | PARKING LIGHTS +|gry/red R gry/blk L| |fusebox or light sw. | | HEADLIGHTS|yellow (low beams) |+ |fusebox or light sw. | | DOOR TRIGGER|BROWN / white |- |by pass. hood strut | | HOOD PIN|no wire on early car|- |at pin switch or light | | FCTRY ALARM ARM|see notes *1 | | | |FCTRY ALRM DISARM|see notes *1 | | | | TACHOMETER| | | | | BRAKE WIRE|BLACK/ red |+ |brake switch | | HORN TRIGGER|BROWN / white |- |steering column | | WIPERS| | | | | LF WINDOW UP/DN|blue - blue/black |B |at window lift switch | | RF WINDOW UP/DN|RED / wht - RED / blk |B |at window lift switch | Notes: *1 Most wires located under cowling by passenger side hood strut or at fusebox. Starter wire locate in large harness below fuel filler pipe below fusebox or under dash between ignition switch and plug through firewall. Door lock wires in round white plug on either side buried in corner below cowling by hood struts. Factory alarms were hidden behind the heater ducting under cowling - major disassembly required to access. Some years car will not run with alarm disconnected. Early cars armed and disarmed with a separate alarm key switch located on end of drivers door. Later cars arm and disarm with lock/unlock signal.

thanks for the "lead"! lock/unlocks were right in the corner behind the hinge, all works, however the dome light option will interfere with the factory alarm, and I probably will not bother with park light flash. I was aiming to activate the factory alarm with the remote also, the difficulty is creating a seperate circuit from the factory key in the door jamb. this switch is on/on with 2.k ohms and 4.5 kohms. I figured a seperate circuit finished with a hidden switch to run either circuit, allowing the redundancy fail safe mode. latching relay preventing current draw and the like, any ideas?
