I only have one fob, and it seems to have lost it's programming :(

The little red light lights up when a button is pressed, but nothing happens on the car. I have replaced the battery (even though it was new), and still nothing.

Has the fob lost it's programming? If so, can I fix it with only one fob? If not, am I going to get hosed at the dealership?
