I am installing a remote start system on a 95 Grand Cherokee Ltd.  Everything works except when I try to remote start the vehicle, it will start, run for around 10 seconds, and turn off.  I hooked up to the factory disarm wire and when the unit sends the signal, it just changes from pos. to no signal when tested.  I know it needs to get a neg. signal to disarm the factory alarm.  What could I do to fix this problem?  I'm sure it is something simple I am just overlooking.  Thanks

You have not learned to tach signal to the unit properly. The OEM alarm system will sound instantly after the remote start would activate if it wasn't bypassed properly. Learn the tach and the Jeep will start and stay running.

 TACH GRAY/BLUE  @ PCM, See NOTE *1
NOTE *1 the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is located high up on the PASSENGER side firewall, under the hood.

I cannot find the Gray/Blue wire.  I did, however, find a wire that was located both on the PCM and the coil.  It was a Gray/White wire.  When I tested it, it tested to be the correct one.  Is there any reason that I would be unable to locate the correct wire? Or am I just looking too hard in the wrong places?
