I was wondering if anyone would be able to get ahold of a wiring diagram for a 2000 Dodge ram sport heater blower motor. I know that they use a resistor box to control the level (low, mid, high), and I am trying to utilize a relay to open the main input wire while throwing the proper voltage/resistance to activate the high speed blower when I remote start the truck (using the defroster output or 2nd status out to activate the relay). If anyone has a diagram, or the wire colors with resistance, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks

I finally got some time to get in and test everything in my 00 Ram 1500. I am trying to find a way to activate my blower motor when I r/s it. I never seem to remember to leave the controls on, so even if i r/s it, i still come out to ice on my windshield. I decided to go straight to the motor itself and found 2 wires going into the motor. The first is 12v+ controlled both by ignition. The ground is where the switch comes into play. At low speed, it shows 8ohm resistance to ground, 6ohm at medium, and 4 ohms on high. I tried using DEI resistor packs, but it took almost 6 full packs of resistors all wiRED / twisted in parallel but by the time i had almost 70 resistors, it was starting to get ridiculous and varied greatly (not consistant resistance). Now the question I have is can I just pick up a 4ohm resistor from radio shack, and use a relay to both open the wire and provide the 4ohm resistance to ground? The only fear I have is that I know that resistors can start to heat up, and I dont want anything starting to burn... lol. Thanks for the help.

buy a big POT or potentiometer at 6 ohms, im sure u can buy it cuz i have seen one at sayals before, but never used is. Just buy more than the required resistance and adjust it to 4 so that way it wont burn up.
