Alright I need help with finding the right MUX wire the tech sheets are telling me that its PURPLE / brown but I cant find a purple brown wire anywhere at the ignition harness or behind the instrument cluster if someone could give me any ideas of what i could do that would great. HELP ME!!...lol

The purple brown is one of the wires coming directly off the ignition switch. Post a photo of yours and someone here can let you know which it is.

well i kinda cant post a photo cause the car is not in my possession right now but the wire colors coming off the ignition harness are
pink/white
pink/green
PURPLE / orange
PURPLE / gray
light blue/red
if that helps any

I'm gonna go out on a limb here but what you think is PURPLE / orange is really PURPLE / brown.

well ill test it and see what happens but i just did a 06 dodge ram with the same mux set up and PURPLE / orange was ground reference. but i will see what happens i guess but any other info would help also cause im completely stumped to my knowledge.

it's the wire right next to the PURPLE / x one in from the end.

mux wire (usually PURPLE / brown) should be between pink/whit (ign) and PURPLE / orange (ground ref)
