The OEM alarm system requires the system be unlocked. If the remote starter engages while LOCKED/ARMED the alarm system will sound. So what you will have to do is set OPTION BANK 1 - FEATURE 1 - OPTION 2 and this will unlock prior to remote start ( disabling the alarm system ) and will re-lock and arm the vehicle after remote start.

for MT: clutch wire is NC, required 5-wire.

clutch wire- brn/blu. polarity is neglected since the switch is NC.

Power Unlock RED / BROWN (-) HOLD GROUND TO ROLL UP WINDOWS DR. KICK
   REQUIRES DOUBLE PULSE
PowerLock GRAY/WHITE (-) NEGATIVE PULSE TO LOCK DBL PULSE UNLOCK

Not sure about the whole deal of RS and unlocking but my source tell me taht there are no antitheft devices.

No anti theft but does have OEM alarm system. We just did a 1998 last week. Pain in the arse since most of the wire information was wrong.
