Hello all,

I am not a distributor, nor an installer, but rather an end user. I am hoping someone has seen this, and possibly has a solution, as my installer is out of ideas.

I just purchased, and had installed a Compustar CM330 starter on my Infiniti QX56, and they used the iDataLink ADS AL 32.

Everything works great except the hatch, and I am hoping someone can tell me if they have done a similar install, and if the following is possible.

The QX56 has both a glass hatch release, and a trunk (tailgate) release. Currently, when I press the trunk release button on my starter, it activates BOTH the window release, AND the tailgate opens as well, which is quite annoying. When I press it again, it closes the tailgate, but again, pops open the window hatch.

I am HOPING that this unit can simply just activate / open the tailgate alone (not the window hatch), and when pressed again, it will activate it again (which would close it).

Anyone seen this? Anyone have a solution that I can take back to my installer so we can make this work correctly?

Thanks all!

Is the release and close option being triggered thru the i-data module? The only thing I have is from the Astrochart. A negative pulse on a blue/white at the switch that opperates the hatch door.

maybe it requires double pulse to open one and single for the other. I got negative YELLOW/BROWN (-) right of steering collumn from scytek wiring database. member to always probe your wires with a DMM
