I am having trouble with my alarm on my 1996 Jimmy suv , I have it all installed properly but it will not lock or unlock the doors. The diagram I got off this site said to use the light blue and the white in the drivers kick which I tried but that didnt work, I also tried to use the same wires at the switch itself and that did not work. The alarm is a k-9 unit and the harness has a green and a blue wire which I tried switching with the light blue and white with no luck. can anybody please help with this?

Did you use the outputs from your alarm to trigger relays?

I know it sounds like a silly question.... but the way you stated in your post, it sounds as if you simply connected them to the wires on the truck.

not that silly because no I did not use any relays, can you explain how to wire them. I appreciate your help.
