I have installed easy 20 remote start systems, but I have heard kinda scary things on these new dodges. First of all its a manual trans, this will be the second manual trans remote start I will have installed. Does anyone have a diagram/wire colors i need to bypass the clutch on this truck? I wanna use the CHDL7-PK2 bypass module since it will do my door locks and second starter/accessory wire. Or should I turn down this job? This bypass module seems like it will do most of the work for me, but I guess the clutch is what I am wondering about. I am installing a bulldog deluxe 500. Thanks

module does 2nd acc, 2nd start, door pins, locks, arm/disarm.  i think its just gwr to the clutch, but don't quote me on that, its been a while.

tach is bottom of drivers side of motor at ecm. plug closest to the front of the vehicle, dk. blue/gray wire.

parking lights are positive trigger multiplexed under the fuse box under the hood. WHITE/ gray and WHITE/ yellow. just diode isolate.

other than that, these are pretty easy vehicles.

(-) parking lights at the switch as well through a resistor. Clutch you will need to test to see if it's a (-) or (+) or Type 3 clutch system.

PARKING LIGHTS ( - ) WHITE/ LIGHT GREEN (-) Requires a 1130 Ohm Resistor and Relay, See NOTE *2  @ HEADLIGHT SWITCH or INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, Small GRAY Plug, Pin 5

The system is N/C and when the clutch is pressed it opens the connection and allows it to start. Find the starting clutch harness and unplug the harness and try to start the truck. If it starts, then you have a type 3 system and you will need to use a relay to bypass the clutch.

The clutch is negative.   It's a yellow/dk.blue at the 2 pin green switch.
