this is simple. tach or no tach on a remote start.

tach is the way to go as long as you get the right wire not a fuel injector wire that causes problems. anyways those who dont use tachs are lazzy. timers and crank times do start the car but picture this. 10 degrees out there and you want to remote start . guess what the tachless car dont start why not , reason engine takes longer to start when its cold (right?) so that timmer is now to short and voltage is also not acurate so whats left tach. a one on one information link from remote start to the engine of your car. and it tells whent he car is started or not. and also if you read in the books (manuals) that you can leave your car started after driving for a little while so you can go in a store or something without leaving the keys. with out a tach wire you cant do that with any alarm 9/10 times it will not work. and also most new aged remote starts have that feature.,

which way would you go it is really not a good idea to not have tach. cause even on timers that little bit of over crank will wear overtime on your starter and it over cranks on both voltage and timers starting selections. so people use tachs. and relays protect your investment relay things. also one more thing dont just connect two acc wires on your cars ignition harness they are two different circuts and they are seperate for a reason leave it like that add a relay.
