so from what I can tell there is no way to diarm the factory security system. So the only option for adding an RS is to stop using the facotry keyless and hence you also will not have the factory alarm. Is there anything else you can do besides add an alarm?

So far that's all you can do is not engage the OEM alarm via the remote control FOB.
