hey guys was up i have 07 denali here with factory remote start customer wants to install a viper 5900 is there anything anybody can help me with//, is there any way i can use the factory remote start with the 5900 where it can be triggerd by an output by the 5900  any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated thanks

1701g will control the oem remote start but it is not much harder to just go ahead and wire up the 5900 to operate the remote start. The oem remote start will only start twice and then you have to insert the key in order to be able to remote start it. Also there is no brake shutdown with the oem setup.

On these vehicles, especially with 2 way remotes, I prefer to install unit as a stand alone unit especially since most connections straight from the 5900 to the 1701g. There are actually very few wires that have to be hooked up in the truck.
