OK so I got this from a reliable source after I told him I just got done running a wire into the door. he said that there is a yellow wire behind the glovebox that you can just use a relay to open the circuit and this will disarm the factory security. Just thought I would throw that out there since I just read a post recently about this.

That would be much easier, please post after you have tried this, and I will do the same.   By the way, do you have a trick to thread the wire through the door boot?  I use a coat hanger type device, poke it through, tape the wire to it and pull it back through.... Pain in the @&&.

No I use that same idea, only a coat hanger would have been a much easier method than I used. I had one of those pick up claws that I had a hell of a time putting through there. I ended up unraveling the whole thing pulling it out too. I plan on trying the yellow wire next time. He said there are a few of them but it cant be that hard.

Hey Guys, if you ever need a good fishing wire lead try bicycle brake cable housing. Go to any bike shop and ask for about 3 feet of this stuff & it's the sh*t !! It has a tough black coating, rigid enough for it to poke through small holes & it's only about $ 1.00 foot.
