hey, my buddy wants to get an alarm/starter for his car. He currently has the following options in mind, but if you have some other brand that is reliable, please tell . Which unit is best or good for an automatic car. and can someone tell me the differance between the units. i can find 1 and 3 on the compustar site but the second?

1) Compustar 2WAM-AS
2) Compustar PRO 2WSH-AS
3) Compustar 2W900FM-AS
4) Phython 881X

Whatever you (or he) does, purchase the Compustars from an "authorized" dealer.

There are NO authorized dealers on line.....anywhere!

no as in from compustar.com, i counldnt find all 3 units. I could only find info on the first and second last from the compustar website. Are the models written wrong? thanks

any more input from anyone? i know the Compustar 2W900FM-AS have good specs.

I really like d.e.i so I would use the python unit, not to say anything bad about compustar I have never used their units before but alot of people on this site have good things to say and it seems very popular. So either would be okay
