Does anyone know if you can use the ford keyless entry wireless keypad on a Chevrolet truck?

Here is a link for the keypad.

Being that they aren't even compatible with all ford/lincoln/mercs I can't imagine it working on a GM. I've never tried programming a ford remote to a GM, but I assume it wouldn't work. It would be cheaper to buy a remote for one of the compatible vehicles listed and try programming that to your truck.

There are universal systems available, but they require some wiring they are not done through programming like the OEM ones.
