did rs in 06 suburu forester soldered onto keyless remote to get arm disarm everything works fine except the lock output is too long triggering the panic unit is old ultrastart 3500 it was for friend any ideas how to shorten pulse they are relayed tried different programming tech support gave me the standard reset and reprogram answer

Well.... the default is .75 seconds. Is it longer than that? The other setting is 3.0 seconds... thats a long time?

tried double unlock setting as well as single unlock both with same result of a good 2 second count on lock pulse can you think of what could be back feeding to keep pulse on i thought maybe field collapsing on relay coil but its the same with relays disconnected
