I've read some old post about some weird problems when using the 1701 on 07+ chevy tahoes etc. so whats the deal with this piece? any other people having problems? just want to get some feedback on this piece considering I have one to do soon and i dont have access to any other sort of interface module at the moment that will do pk3 and doorlocks, etc.

I've done a few of those trucks already with the iDatalink and they have been flawless. The new trucks have the new ignition systems on there but is pretty easy to bypass. Sorry I can't be of any help with the DEI piece but someone should be able to shed some light on the matter. Chances are you just have to have a high enough version of the module in order for the problems to not occur.
