I installed a remote start/keyless on an 06 dodge charger about a year ago, now the lights on the climate controls are out, and of course the remote starter is being blamed. Everything else is working fine tho, remote starter, keyless, no other lights are out on the dash, etc. I've done my fair share of magnums, chargers, etc. and have never had a problem like this. Do you guys thing its just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with the starter? or has anyone seen a problem like this as a result of installing a remote starter? I guess i could see a problem maybe resulting from an improper resistance on the acc. wire when you remote start the vehicle, but having the lights out all the time even when starting with the key seems odd. The car is coming in tomorrow, i just wanted to get some feedback ahead of time on this problem.

if it happened immedietly I'd blame the starter, a year later is something else.
the lighting is CAN-BUS controlled, the car sends out a signal to turn them on or off, or dim, there's no real way that the starter can make one piece in the vehicle lose lighting.
