I have all the wires marked where they have to go except the Pink slave timer start wire. Do I need this wire for my car a 2003 Acura EL factory alarm and keyless entry. Thanks

Sounds like it goes to a timer which would send it a negative pulse to start the car at certain time intervals, (not sure though), but if that is its function it would not be required unless you have a timer.

I forgot to mention that on the compustar install manual it says the the pink wire "is most commonly used when adding a remote start to a factory keyless entry system. You can adjust the number of pulses with option 2-4"

then that wire would not be needed if you are using Compustar remotes, make sure you tape the wire, because a ground on that wire WILL cause the remote starter to activate.

forgot to mention if you are using your factory remotes to start your car you can tie this wire to the unlock wire in your car and set it for 2 or 3 or 4, which means if you press your unlock either twice or three times or 4 times it will also activate the remote start...be sure to use a relay on the unlock wire also.
