I'm about to install a remote start/alarm on an 08 avalanche.
I was going to use an XK01 GMDL6X For the door locks and alarm,
and use a PKUGM2X for the remote start overide.

But then I saw the 1701G which looks like it does everything that the other two units do but for a fraction of the cost..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you still need a relay and resistor with the 1701g.

or what about the Idatalink ADS-DLSL-GM..
there are so many choices, i just want the best deal!.
