Buying this alarm: https://www.scytek.net/product_galaxy_combo_5000RS-2W.html

Installing on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT

Only question I have is how to hook up heated seats to this alarm,

Also im not quite understanding how the bypas works, new to Scytek systems all together but it looks to be a good system, here is the link to the paslock bypass I was told to order... https://www.ecarsecurity.com/GMBP-p/gmbp.htm any ideas?  Im used to building relays, supposedly this makes it so that you dont need to do this!?

The bypass "tricks" your passlock into thinking the key was inserted before the engine was cranked over. When you trigger the remote start. The "ground when running" wire from your alarm triggers your bypass module. The bypass module then sends a code to the passlock (the code which is needed to bypass it, same thing as inserting the key) in the vehicle. The starter then cranks over until the engine starts usually when the tach wire is connected, it senses the voltage change when the RPM's rises. No relays are required.

You should look for a GMDL-BP somewhere else since I don't see it on that site you want to buy your bypass from. The GMDL-BP is a Passlock bypass and a doorlock interface module in one. The site you have a link to has the GMDL and the MULTIDL. You either need both of those or the GMDL-BP.

Ok hooked up the alarm and r/s today, comes on like its going to start, but doesnt engage starter, i did order the gmdl-bp, some reason all I can get the alarm to do is unlock, also can';t get the alarm to go into programing mode, guess this is what i get for trying a new company of alarms!!

Did you program the GMDL-BP? It must be programmed before it will bypass the passlock.

Entering the programming for the alarm is fairly easy. Did you hook up the siren? You need the horn or siren hooked up to hear the chirps that let you know you have successfully entered programming and also to confirm when you select the next level in the programming options.
