Hi there, I have some doubts I need to be cleared, tihs is the first alarm i'm installing so here I go, how many sensors can I put to my alarm? actually I've installed the stinger shock sensor the alarm came with and a 508D dual zone sensor, but I' would like to add a 507M Digital Tilt Sensor and a 506T glass breakage sensor but I don't know if this would be possible, then I don't know if i've wired my parking lights correctly, since I just hooked up my parking lights wire directrly from my steering column to the alarm white wire, should I use relays or something else instead of just hooking it up directly? i can hear my alarm clicking when I lock and unlock it but i don't know if this is normal or not, could it blow up my alarm in some way?, so please clear my doubts. also if somebody knows how to wire the starter killer that supposedly comes with the alarm would be a great help, (do I need to use extra relays for this? or the relay sattellite does the starter kill as I was told? i'm getting a neutral safety module to wire it as it should be, my car is manual trannny if you're wondering but I want to install most as possible till the safety thing arrives. everything works good for now but I want to know if i need to add something else or not,I've read that maybe I need to add diodes to things I have not put anything in, but that's why I need to know to correct it or not, I hope you reply soon ;) thanx

well be more specific about the car make and year. u asked about 10 questions so ill try to answer as much as possible

1) how many sensors can I put to my alarm?
you can put as many as u like. just splice the wire and place a diode in between wires white strip towards alarm.

2) should I use relays or something else instead of just hooking it up directly?
your alarm unit should have built in relays that is a positive. just connect that the parking ligh on the car. test with a digital volt meter, no test lights.

3) my alarm clicks when I lock and unlock it but i don't know if this is normal or not
If it is clicking when u lock and unlock, its just the relays clicking to send the output needed to lock and unlock. like i said before be specific about the car u are putting it into.

4) could it  blow up my alarm in some way?
there is no way to blow up an alarm, however, if you wire it wrong then for sure u will fry ur alarm even a possibility - your car electrical system if dont Incorrectly.

5)how to wire the starter killer (do I need to use extra relays for this? )
from what i know, i dont really install DEI made stuff, never got my hands on one. From reading, the viper starter relays have a starter kill built into the relay pack. all u need to do is cut ur starter wire. maybe im wrong and some1 can correct me.

6)safety module
the alarm iteslf is not designed for manual transmission, however, if u do purchase the safety module you could use the neutral safety module(wired properly) and it will be safer than the E-brake.

5900 with all the fixings is quite a task for your first install. for the starter kill, in the installation manual it will show you that the heavy gauge purple and green wires are for the starter/ starter kill. cut the starter wire then purple goes to starter side, green to key side

well the car is a 83 datsun 200sx, ka24de engine & 5 speed tranny swap, mechanic fuel inyection, no ecu, mechanic fuel pump etc, crank windows & manual locks, I prefer mechanic things over electric =) they use to be trouble less, and less complicated, at least for me. lol, but I wanted to close & open the car locks just because I'm lazy to take the key out, hehe that's why I want to add the remote start. I'm a lazy guy, lol also where I live it's safer just enter the car and drive than take the time to take out the keys & let somebody get close to you and  then bang bang you, jajaja

well, about the sensors I've wired, I just hooked them as the manual stated, I didn't tried anything else, so I don't know if I'd need diodes between them, but I think I should use them If I'm trying to connect green 2 green and blue to blue wires respectly (that's what I understood) so power and ground wires goes to the same with no diodes in there I guess. if not, correct me please

the parking lights work ok, the alarm relays clicks and everything seems to work fine, I've read the safety module manual but is not very clear, I've just ordered one at ebay and is on the way, so I have to figure it out once I have it on my hands. =) about the relay satellite, I just figured out  that fused red wires goes to constant 12v lol, but thanks for clearing me the other ones ;) really, the manual is not very understandeable, "yes, there are no good drawings" jajaja :D

also I forgot to mention I want my car horn to sound when alarm is active, it sounds louder and makes people get's crazy :) I've seen there's a horn 2 wire connector but I don't know if must wire it to my steering column or directly to my  horn relay,  that's all by now I think, if someone have something with drawings to connect the relay satellite could be better lol.

thanks so much for your help ;)

the horn output on the 5900 is low current to drive the factory relay. just connect it to the horn wire in the ignition harness

hi there I'm back, with some new stuff, well I installed the alarm except the satellite relay pack that I guess I won't install but well, recentently I installed a DEI 520T backup battery & a 507T TIlt sensor,
I used the multiplexed input used for the trunk pin, of the main wiring harness, and used the proper diodes to isolate each instant trigger wire of 520T & 507t but when I disconnect my car battery it does not trigger anything just keeps the alarm on but only that, also my tilt sensor doesn't work. I don't remember how I positioned the diodes on each wire all I remember is that I soldered'em as I was told here in this topic. but I tried to reverse diode poles to check if i soldered'em incorrectly but nothing happens? what could be the problem then? any ideas? ah yeah I soldered those to to the same multiplex input so there is the trunk pin the 520t & 507t to the same input, trunk pin does work good, but just the sensors I isolated does not.
I'm very frustrated about this -__-
