I know it's not a favorite among the crowd, but is it really that bad?Do you know the range on the remote?Can I add other sensors to it at a later time? Thanks

The range of the unit is about 200 - 300 feet. You can add sensors to it afterwards and personally, if you can install it coreectly.... it's not a bad unit. It's cheap and it's a pain in the arse if something goes wrong in the install because there no support from the manufacturer's.
